Business Missions to the Gulf
The AGC holds annual business missions to the Gulf region led by senior members of the Australian political and corporate community attended by senior executives of Australian companies. The AGC’s inaugural Business Mission was held in December 2010 led by Hon Bob Hawke AC and Hon Peter Costello AC.
At its discretion, the AGC may hold country or industry specific missions to the Gulf region. Potential industry mini missions may include agriculture and food security, construction, infrastructure or education.
Business Missions to Australia
The AGC hosts visiting delegations from the GCC countries. The AGC works closely with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Austrade and diplomatic posts in Australia to support the delegations’ visits and provide appropriate opportunities for AGC members to interact at the most senior levels with these government and business delegations.
