David Pearse

David Pearse has over 25 years’ experience in commodities, trading and investment banking.  He successfully built an emerging commodities business in power, coal, gas, oil, freight, weather and carbon trading, producing the first investment banking carbon trading desk.  Mr Pearse has held Board appointments with the London Clearing House and the World Bank Prototype Carbon Fund, and numerous senior management positions including Managing Director of commodities at Deutsche Bank, and at Cargill.  Mr Pearse is also a qualified Geologist and an expert in the securitisation of ecosystem services, biodiversity and carbon.  He possesses a thorough understanding of building and trading complex commodity and physical instruments, and has extensive experience throughout the commodity arena including trading, processing and production. As RMWAH’s Managing Director, Mr Pearse provides leadership to the company’s fundraising endeavours and strategic development
